QUESTION: What level should I be to play?

ANSWER: We are an Intermediate and higher level club, so Beginners might be better starting at either of our sister groups. (Benissa Weds/Fri afternoons and Calpe Mon/Thurs mornings)

QUESTION: Can I just turn up and play?
​
ANSWER: Absolutely! However, it would be great if you could also drop us an email and introduce yourself! Visitors can come along to three (3) sessions before considering whether they would like to join the club. We recommend that everyone has adequate insurance to cover themselves, as all club members do, but if visitors choose not to have insurance, then we ask that they sign a waiver before playing.
QUESTION: What types of shuttlecock do you use?

ANSWER: We always use either Feather shuttles, or Hybrid shuttles off-season.

QUESTION: What language do you primarily use?
​
ANSWER: Primarily English is spoken in club sessions, but we welcome people from all countries and nationalities.

QUESTION: We're on holiday on the Costa Blanca, would we be able to come and play?
​
ANSWER: Absolutely! It would be great if you could also drop us an email and introduce yourself!
QUESTION: Do I need to bring my own racquet, shoes etc?

ANSWER: Yes please! Occasionally members may be able to loan a racquet, but please don't rely on this. We understand people on holiday do not always have their badminton kit with them, so please email us first if you need to borrow a racquet.

QUESTION: How much does it cost to play?
​
ANSWER: For visitors it is just €3 per session. Annual club memberships are available for less than €100, which include insurance and a Valencia Regional competitive licence, making it little more than €1 a session! Payment options available.
